AzNHA's
First Annual Symposium
The Dynamics of Ethics in Arizona's Home Care Industry
In September 2011 our Association held its first educational Symposium.
The event provided a forum where individuals in all levels
and disciplines of Arizona's health care industry had the
opportunity to collaborate during a day of interactive
learning focused on ethical issues affecting our businesses
and our industry as a whole.
Nine educational sessions were provided covering a wide
range of topics, including an update on Arizona's
ever-changing regulatory environment, training updates on
new AHCCCS provider requirements, tips on how to navigate
through an employment lawsuit and advice on how to limit
your business's insurance exposure.
We are so grateful to each of our sponsors and all of the
volunteers who donated the funding, resources and efforts
required to make this event the success it was. If you
were in attendance, we would like to say "thank you" to you
as well. If you were unable to join us, we hope you
will make plans to be in attendance next year.
The date of our next Symposium has been set for September 6,
2012.
